For too long we lived in the forest and wilderness. So, we thought our self that we must eat anything we can find. Maybe you think that today this is different, but it isn’t. How many people pay attention on what are they going to eat for lunch? Fast- food, pizza or hotdogs are the thing we eat often. The common thing in all of them is meat!

There are many claims that meat is bad, and that we should stop eating it, but I honestly don’t believe we can live without meat.

There are several drawbacks of meat. It is responsible for increased LDL or ‘’bad’’ cholesterol levels, which leads to clogged arteries! One study found that people who are eating meat every day increase their mortality up to 13%. Because it contains compounds called heterocyclic amines (HCAs), meat from barbecues increased chances for cancer development! Next time when you see a nice meat steak, remember that it is made from many smaller parts! The meat industry use transglutaminase, ‘’glue’’ which glues together the small pieces into one bigger. This enzyme is formerly made from animal blood! Now it is produced through fermentation of bacteria.

According to one study from Australia, people who eat 2 ounces of eat very day (beef of lamb), have 2 times less chance to develop depression and anxiety problems. It is full with nutrition! You know that bodybuilders must eat meat every day, because it is full with creatine and carnosine. It contains a high level of proteins, so it’s important for our bones and muscles. Although, overcooked meat can be related to cancer development, red meat cannot cause this disease. Maybe the main reason why people should eat meat products, is that every one of them taste good!
