Ben and Jerry’s kept secrets

Ben and Jerry’s kept secrets

People prefer a brand of their ice creams. It is hardly possible that they will settle down with something that is not conducive to their taste, liking or even if they do they will prefer to change the venue. Keeping this in mind, Ben and Jerry’s came up with a brand of ice creams which will appeal to all the masses and will make them the loyal and dedicated customers of that brand.

Here are some things which you desire you must have known about this hugely popular brand:

Ben could not smell:

Ben Cohen, who was the originally developer of the most of Ben & Jerry's flavors and had a rare sinus condition known as anosmia. It prevented him from being able to smell. He had admitted saying that that he had no idea what a flavors is, and also had difficulty determining and understanding the differences in wines or spices. Their only significant argument related to the size of the chunks which were supposed to be included in their ice cream

Half Baked :

People desire to consume as many flavors as possible but it’s the Ben & Jerry's most popular flavor Half Baked, which is nothing but chocolate and vanilla ice creams mixed with gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge brownies . This turned out to be the most preferred ice cream of all.

Cool perks:

Ben and Jerry definitely seem to be in good mood always. And why will them not with such a nice, handsome business. The employees at the firm are always benefitted with usual perks of good vacation and lifestyle. The brand Ben & Jerry's offers its employees some exciting and really beneficial perks, including 3 free pints of ice cream every day. Planning to work anyone?

Flavor Graveyard :

Going well with Ben & Jerry's satirical and nice sense of humor, the company has agreed to build a Flavor Graveyard right outside their Waterside factory, with excellent tombstones that do represent each of the retired ice creams in (mostly bad) rhyme, which are stuffed ravens, and along with plenty of kitsch.

Tiff with the Japanese

Initially, Ben & Jerry's did not really do well in Japan because however the Japanese did not understand why their ice cream was so full of chunks. They would eat the ice cream and yes pick out the chunks. They however preferred smooth ice cream and for that reason Ben & Jerry's focuses mostly on chunky ice cream. The company however rethought their approach and tried installing a new Scoop Shop in 2012, which tried to produce Japan-only flavors, along with selling some of Ben & Jerry's favorites, including Cherry Garcia.
