No flipping - cook bacon in the oven
Bacon is a great choice of food for parties and for gatherings but it has to be served crispy. One of the best and easy methods to cook the tasty bacon is to bake it in the oven instead of frying it in a pan on the stove, and no flipping is required.
You can easily bake lot of bacon for your guests or family in a very short time. At first, preheat the oven at 400°F. Cover a baking tray with tinfoil. Arrange the slices of raw bacon on the tinfoil making sure you don’t overlap the slices. Place the tray in the oven. If you want to bake more pieces of bacon then use multiple trays on different racks in the oven. Set the timer of oven to approximately 20 minutes to cook the bacon thoroughly. When the bacon is golden brown and crispy, remove the bacon slices to a serving tray and serve hot with a variety of sauces or chutney.
You can also freeze baked bacon for some other occasions. Frozen bacon will last for over 3 months. It is a good idea to freeze the slices on a tray and when frozen, transfer the slices to a freezer bag. Take whatever number of frozen slices you want and warm them in the oven to serve. Do not overcook in too hot an oven as this will blacken the bacon.
