When we talk about cooking first & foremost difficult thing come in mind is making “Chapaties & Fulka(Indian bread)”. If Our daughter goes to hostel we suggest her to buy Tiffin from out side, so that she can get “Indian-bread’ ready available.
My friend don’t use to like the taste of curry available in hostels , he use to buy bread & ready to eat products. For a month it was good but ready to eat products has sodium which affect on your digestion system. Most of us who are looking to stay outside look for a good cook who can cook food for us.
With the new technology there is chapatti maker available in the market which solves your problem of cooking chapattis, there is Dough maker also available in the market. Now what you ned to do is buy these products & get trained how to use these products?
Second important thing is how to make “Tadka” it is a process of adding mustered seeds/cumin seeds, turmeric, and tempering it in oil.
“Tadka” is main process require to make all the curries, even it requires to make Daal.
There are two type of “tadka’s” base
1) Oil Tadka: In oil tadka u can use Mustered & Cumin seed both. With other spices. Further if you wants u can put ginger,garlic & onion.(Depends on style of dish).
2) Ghee Tadka: Ghee tadka it is advised not to put Mustered seed & Garlic. Mix of Ghee with above may react on digestion. In Ghee tadka use only cumin seeds, with Green chilly.
Generally for fasting people use Ghee tadka & for general cooking use oil Tadka.
