The Flat Belly Diet
We have two parts in this diet. The first part is a shorter, 4 day period, designed to clean out the body, and the second part is a longer, 4 week eating plan. During the first part, you will have an intake of 1200 calories per day, and in the second part, that amount is increased up to 1600 calories per day. There are three meals and a snack per day, and, sampling menus and grocery list are provided. During this first period, users must avoid: salt, food with high levels of carbs, processed food, coffee, alcohol and tea. Actually, only what you can drink is a mixture of water, cucumber, lemon, mint leaves and ginger root.
For breakfast you can eat: waffle, cinnamon and ½ banana. For lunch: ½ burger meat, avocado and corn tortillas. Wild salmon and green beans, you can have for dinner. If you want a snack, hot oatmeal and blueberries are allowed.
The benefits of this diet are; it includes healthy meals, it is good in protecting the heart and it allows you to eat in fast-food restaurants, which can be very useful for busy people. There are some bad sides also. So, they overestimate the effect of the muffins, their claims aren’t scientifically supported and 1600 calories aren’t enough for some people, so you may feel hungry all the time.
With this diet you will have enough daily intake of fat, proteins and carbohydrates. Those levels are higher than recommended. Fiber is recommended 22-34g per day, but with this diet, you will have a daily intake of 35 g. But, potassium daily intake amount, cannot be reached, vitamin D daily intake is lower than recommended and potassium will be enough, but just!
