Planning the Diet of a Growing Child
A growing child, particularly one who is between eight and ten years of age, needs plenty of nutrition to be able to develop in the right way. If you have such a child at home, you need to give a lot of care and attention to the planning of his diet.
Include Eggs in the Diet
If you have a growing child at home, then you need to give him plenty of eggs. Eggs contain sufficient protein and can help to regular the flow of blood in the body. It can also help to increase the energy levels in the child.
Give the Child Milk on a Regular Basis
A growing child also has to be given milk twice or thrice in a day at least, if he is to grow as tall as he is capable of. Milk should be lukewarm and not too cold at the time of being given to the child or else he is not going to enjoy its taste.
Include Meat in His Diet
The diet of a growing child has to include meat in some form or the other. Meat should be boiled or stir fried in order for it to retain its nutritional value.
